Renowned make-up artist Ellis Faas to come to India for WLFW 2012. One look at some of her work and you’ll know why you should be excited!

Fancy an Ellis Clip?

All make-up conscious women, and men… Ellis Faas, of the high end cosmetics label Ellis Faas is coming to India. The lady herself will be supervising the make up for a show at the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week 2012, on October 6. It’s one thing when an expert from a leading brand is sent to represent the company, but when the person behind the machinery itself comes visiting, one can’t help but wait with bated breath, to see what will the result be like! Ellis has an impressive resume, she did campaigns for brands like Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Gucci and Hermes. Vogue Paris cited Ellis Faas as “one of the most influential make-up artists of her time”. She’s also been a part of successful shows for top notch brands Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, Barbara Bui, Blumarine, Cacharel, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Chanel, Les Copains, Marlies Dekkers, Diesel, Colette Dinnigan and Dolce e Gabbana.

It’s all in the technique

P.S: Ellis Faas will be conducting a workshop on beauty and make-up on October 7 and 8 for a select few make-up artists in the Capital. But don’t fret, you can read more on tips and trends suggested by her right here. Watch this space for more…

The lady in question.. Ellis Faas. Encore!!!

Here’s what Ash wore at her latest New York outing

Dying to see what Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore during her latest public appearance in New York? Here goes… she chose a black embroidered number from Gucci’s Fall Winter 2012 line. A little below the knee length outfit, the black dress tapers at the bottom and camouflages Ash’s chubby arms and waistline. We especially like the satin patch that breaks the monotony of the embroidery. Ash was in NYC to attend the Global Partnership Forum Women Leaders event on September 24. She will be flying with daughter Aaradhyaa to Chicago to be with hubby Abhishek Bachchan soon after.
